I joined the Born & Bred team thanks to a little persuasion from my big sister, Linzi many moons ago. As the resident pessimist, I enjoy keeping Linzi on her toes (much to her annoyance, of course!). We even have a secret code word on the shop floor – "Pineapple" – for when things get a little too heated between siblings.

When I'm not at work, you'll usually find me sporting favourite black top with a pop of pink flamingos. And let's not forget my beloved leather jacket – it's seen me through at least a decade of adventures!

On the weekends, you might find me cheering on my beloved Spurs. And when it comes to enjoying a pint of the black stuff, there's no better place in Belfast than Bittles.

I've been part of the Born & Bred team since 2019, and I absolutely love it! As the "hostess with the mostess," I get to share the Born & Bred experience with our taste and tour visitors. I'm also the one keeping our website looking fresh and up-to-date with all our latest and greatest products.

Beyond Born & Bred, I'm a freelance artist and you can actually find some of my creations right here in the shop! Perfect for any Derry Girls fans out there.

When I'm not at work or creating, I'm usually spending time with my two furry boys, Simba and Merlot. And on top of everything else, I'm currently in the midst of wedding planning – it's exciting but definitely chaotic!

I joined the Born & Bred team in 2021, bringing 10 years of hospitality experience to the table. However, having known Linzi and David my whole life, I'm also the official supplier of the word "Pineapple" around here (you'll understand if you know, you know!).

You'll usually find me on the shop floor, tackling the never-ending task of tidying, organising, and rearranging – a constant challenge in a place like Born & Bred! (Especially when it comes to cleaning up after Linzi's coffee cups and apple cores).

Outside of work, I'm a passionate foodie and love exploring Belfast's vibrant restaurant scene. You can find my culinary adventures documented on my food page, @ The Chef's Missus. So, if you're ever looking for restaurant recommendations, don't hesitate to ask!

I'm the social media whiz at Born & Bred, showcasing the best of our brand across all platforms. I'm passionate about supporting local businesses, which is why my own podcast, "Supporting Local with Charis," has been a labour of love for the past two years. Working with Born & Bred felt like the perfect fit!

When I'm not bringing Born & Bred to life online, you might find me cheering on my favourite F1 driver. And on a more personal note, I recently got engaged and am in the middle of wedding planning! How Exciting!
